For the first time, the lacquered face of the Polaris Date watch sports a green that is as deep as it is subtle. Depending on the play of light, the color evolves and transforms from a contrasting dark green to a soft, luminous hue. With its innovative décor, the Super-LumiNova® hour markers and numerals stand out in all their brilliance alongside the skeletonized hands with luminescent tips. Paying homage to the first Memovox Polaris, the vanilla tone of their finish further enhances their striking visual appeal. The sharp lined, 42-mm stainless steel case boasts a double-polished satin finish and is complemented by an easily interchangeable green rubber strap with a Clous de Paris motif. The sapphire crystal case back reveals the finishes of the new generation Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 899. Designed, produced and assembled under the same roof, this Manufacture movement offers a 70-hour power reserve, a highly practical feature for a sports watch.

35 LAYERS OF LACQUER FOR A UNIQUE FINISH. The Polaris Date dial is of an impressive complexity to produce: the dial is first decorated with a grained and sunray finish, then 35 layers of different lacquers are applied to create the gradient colour and the depth of the dial. Finally, the dial is meticulously polished for a flawless result.

READABLE AT ALL TIMES. The signature gradient green lacquered dial allows the Polaris Date to prioritise legibility without the slightest compromise in aesthetics. A balanced mix of opaline, grained and sunrayed surfaces clearly defines each key dial segment.
