Panerai draws from the rare 1960s ref. 6152/1 prototype for the new Luminor 8 Giorni Firenze PAM01794, to celebrate the centenary of its historic Florence boutique. The polished 44 mm steel case translates the imposing architecture of the 47 mm 6152/1 into proportions suited to contemporary wear. Its cushion-shaped middle case, integrated lugs, brushed crown-protecting bridge and domed sapphire crystal preserve the strong geometry and visual depth of Panerai’s early instruments.

The black circular-brushed sandwich dial responds dynamically to light while keeping the display pure: no date, no auxiliary indications, only highly visible numerals and indices, and the unique "Panerai Firenze" inscription. Green Super-LumiNova® heightens readability, while heat-blued pencil hands echo a treatment found in historical Panerai references. It embodies the robust character of an instrument built for demanding conditions, evident in its 44mm case, 30 bar (~300-meter) water resistance, and 8 Days power reserve.

Revived in a robust steel case, the spirit of design shaped by real operational needs continues in this 1000-piece limited edition. The dark brown Tuscan calf leather strap is hot-stamped with the Florentine lily and paired with a black rubber alternative. The matte mahogany presentation box features dovetail joints and a metal plaque depicting the entrance of the historic boutique, with the second strap and tools housed beneath the tray.
