Luminor PAM01731 pays tribute to the design language established by Panerai in the 1960s, when the Maison created professional instruments for the Italian Navy. Luminor PAM01731's 44 mm steel case revisits this historic Ref. 6152/1 architecture, preserving its cushion geometry, domed crystal and crown protective bridge while translating these functional elements for the first time into this contemporary size.

The tobacco dial reintroduces a deep brown tone to the Maison’s palette. Its sandwich construction - two superimposed plates designed for enhanced legibility in all light conditions - pairs with small seconds at 9 o’clock to express the heritage character of the reference.

Hand-wound movements remain fundamental to Panerai’s watchmaking expertise, echoing the robust calibres that powered its early underwater instruments. The P.6000 delivers a three-day power reserve, a stable balance wheel beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour and a stop-balance wheel for precise synchronization. Visible through the open caseback, it features blue engravings and horizontally brushed plates.
