Carl Brashear Calibre 401 Mens Watch

This new Oris timepiece, the Oris Carl Brashear Calibre 401, was created in support of the Carl Brashear Foundation. This special piece, limited to 2000 pieces, is the first from Oris to carry the Oris Calibre 401, the second movement from the brand's family of in-house automatics. A 40mm case made of bronze, not only symbolising the diving helmets worn by Carl during his career as a U.S Navy Master Diver but chosen as it a metal that will tell its own tale. Bronze, as a natual material, will react with the oxygen in the air and moisture from your skin and overtime will take on a unique finish. Additional features include an uni-directional rotating bronze bezel with timing scale, blue Luminous material hands and indices with Super-LumiNova® top glass sapphire, domed on both sides, an anti-reflective coating inside the case back. Presented on a blue woven elastic nylon webbing strap with bronze buckle, specially produced in partnership with Erika’s Originals Water resistance 10 bar (100 metres).
