On the cap, a delicate rose is depicted amidst a finely crafted leaf pattern. It signifies Juliet’s ardent hope that their love for one another will remain unsullied by their family heritage – just as the pure, bewitching scent of a rose endures forever. The handcrafted nib, made of solid Au 585 gold, bears a highly symbolic embossing: the name ‘Romeo’ immortalised within a heart pierced by a dagger and framed by star-like rays.
