With its sleek lines inspired by racing yachts, J12 is the first unisex sports watch by CHANEL. Made from ultra-resistant yet soft ceramic, it is impervious to the passage of time. On the back of the watch, the self-winding Calibre 12.1 Manufacture movement is visible through a sapphire crystal. Allure on the inside, revealed on the outside.

Making the invisible visible. It was with this vision in mind that the Manufacture Calibre 12.1 automatic movement was designed in 2019. Meticulously crafted, it features diamond-cut bevels and an openworked tungsten oscillating weight with a black coating: a dense, heavy material that is perfectly suited to power the barrel spring and ensure a 70-hour power reserve, far exceeding traditional standards. Power delivered smoothly to ensure performance and precision. Visible through a sapphire crystal on the back of the J12, it forms a perfect circle: the Maison's signature watchmaking feature.

Invisible and imperceptible, the triple-folding buckle on the J12 watch was patented in 1987 by the CHANEL Manufacture. Designed as a natural extension of the ceramic bracelet, it guarantees a perfectly centred fit, without pressure or discomfort, as well as a secure fastening, even underwater.
