First launched in 2016, this A. Lange & Söhne Mens Watch 191.039, is from the Lange 1 collection; a true icon in watch manufacturing, winning more awards than more timepieces in the past few decades thanks to a combination of traditional elements of Saxon watchmaking and extraordinary dial design. The design of the Lange 1 collection follows a clear-cut principle: all displays are arranged off-centre, forming an isosceles triangle. A 38.5mm case hosts a solid silver dial with solid gold appliques and hour markers and hands made of rhodiumed gold which are all luminous. The date is indicated in a rhodiumed gold frame with numerals that are about three times larger than those in watches of comparable dimensions. Manually wound, this timepiece is presented on a black leather strap.
