In 1969, TAG Heuer first launched the Monaco range and achieved two firsts for the brand - a water resistant timepiece with a sqaure case and the first automatic chronograph. The following year, Steve McQueen loved this design so much, he wose it in his ""Le Mans"" film, making it a true icon. This particular model features an eyegant blue sun-ray dial in a 39mm sqaure case, with a red seconds indicator, both nods to the traditional colours from the original Monaco colelction. Powered by the the in-house, state-of-the-art manufactured movement Calibre Heuer 02 automatic, this is visible through the sapphire case back.
