Q1: How do I place an order? A step by step guide.
A: Buying from our site is simple and secure. Follow the five easy steps below to place an order.
Step One – Finding A Product You can browse through the items in our shop using the category choices at the top/side of the page or you can type a keyword in the ‘search’ box to look for a particular type of product. At each stage you will be given choices to help you narrow down your search to the style of item you are looking for.
Step Two – Product Details When you see a product you are interested in you can find out more about it by clicking on the thumbnail image or by clicking the “details” button. The product information pages will give you all the details you need including, where appropriate, the sizes available. You can also click on the “zoom” button to view a larger image of the item if one is available.
Step Three – Shopping Basket/Wish List If you decide you may want to buy an item you can put it in your shopping basket using the “add to basket” button. You can access your shopping basket, add items and remove items at any time during your visit to the store. If you do not wish to purchase the item at the moment but would like to store it for future reference you may wish to use our “wish list“ facility where you can store details of your favourite items or use the “e-mail to a friend“ button to tell somebody else about the item.
Step Four - The Checkout Once you have finished shopping and are ready to complete your purchase click the “proceed to checkout” button. At this stage we will ask you for a valid e-mail address, your personal and credit/debit card details and for a password which will allow you to access your order details at a later stage. To complete your order simply press the “submit” button and we’ll take care of the rest.
Step Five – Order Confirmation and Delivery After you’ve submitted your order you’ll receive an e-mail confirming the details. You will receive a further email from us when your order has been accepted and processed and we’ll also let you know when your order is dispatched to you. We will only hold the minimum information necessary to process your order safely and securely. We never hold your credit card details or bank details on any of our systems. A: Under normal circumstances we will take payment immediately your order is confirmed. If for any reason we foresee a delay in delivering your order within our normal timescales we will contact you immediately to advise you and ask you to confirm that you still wish to proceed with your order.
Q6: Can I track the progress of my order?
A: We will keep you informed by e-mail at all stages of the order process from confirmation of order details through to dispatch. When your order is sent out we will also provide you with a Royal Mail tracking number so that you can monitor its delivery. Q11: I have received a dispatch e-mail but my order has not arrived?
A: When we dispatch your order you will receive an e-mail containing a Royal Mail tracking number. You can use this to access Royal Mail’s “Track and Trace” system on their website. This page gives you information of the status of your delvery. All orders are sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery™ Next Day and, depending on your location and the time of year, your order should arrive, at the latest, 3 working days after dispatch. If your item has not been received after this time you can contact Royal Mail direct quoting your Tracking Reference number or contact ourselves. Although we can take no responsibility for any delivery delays or problems out-with our control caused by Royal Mail or any other carrier we will do all we can to help resolve any delivery problems.
