These Terms and Conditions and your use of this website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Scotland and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish court.
Using this Website and its Contents
We can only offer goods and services for sale to UK residents over 18 years of age.
To be eligible to purchase products on this Website and lawfully enter into and form contracts on this Website under Scottish law you must:
• Register by providing your real name, phone number, e-mail address, payment details and other requested information
• Be over 18 years of age
• Possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us
• Stipulate a delivery address in the United Kingdom. Please note that PO Box numbers, hotels and accommodation
addresses are not acceptable. For your security the delivery address must match the address to which statements
are sent for the credit card being used to pay for your order.
Although we do our utmost to ensure all information on this website is correct and is as up-to-date as possible when you place an order, we cannot accept responsibility for any inaccuracies or errors beyond our reasonable control. Product dimensions given are intended to give an approximate indication of the size of individual products and product images are not to scale. We cannot guarantee that the images and colours of our products will be represented correctly on different computer monitors or other devices through which this website may be accessed. We reserve the right to refuse orders if items have been mispriced or if the item is no longer available.
Buying from this Website
By purchasing from this website you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
By filling in an electronic order form and submitting it to us you are making an offer to purchase from us.
In doing so you confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is your own.
We will send an email confirming your order details.
Our acceptance of your offer to purchase will result in a binding agreement between us under these Terms and Conditions.
Please note that we are under no obligation to accept your order but we would normally only refuse orders under exceptional circumstances. These circumstances include; non-approval of payment by your credit card/debit card company; the item no longer being in stock; the item having being misrepresented or mispriced on our website.
We will contact you immediately if there is any problem with your order or unforeseen delay.
Pricing and Payment for Purchases
All prices quoted on this website are in Pounds Sterling and we can only accept payment in Pounds Sterling.
Prices are subject to increase without notice but we will never charge you more than the price stated in your order confirmation.
We accept the following major Debit and Credit Cards; VISA, MASTERCARD, SWITCH, SOLO, JCB, MAESTRO and ELECTRON.
Payment will be taken immediately upon confirmation of your order.
All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time of publishing the information to this site.
All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
Delivery of Goods
For most orders we will dispatch your purchases within 5 working days of order confirmation. If for any reason we foresee a delay in delivering your order within this timescale we will contact you immediately to advise you and ask you to confirm that you still wish to proceed with your order.
We will keep you informed of progress at all stages of the order process and you may also track the progress of your order by logging into your “My Account” page at any time. We will email you when your order has been dispatched and provide you with a Royal Mail tracking number which will allow you to access delivery status details via the Royal Mail website.
Delivery costs: Delivery is free on all orders over £100 (£5.95 under £100).
Delivery Address: For your security we can only deliver to the home address where your credit card statements are received.
Delivery Handling: We use Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Service for all deliveries. A signature will be required to receive your order. When we dispatch your order you will receive an e-mail containing a Royal Mail tracking number. You can use this to access Royal Mail’s “Track and Trace” system on their website. This will give you information regards expected delivery times. All orders are sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery™ Next Day and, depending on your location and the time of year, your order should arrive, at the latest, 3 working days after dispatch. If your item has not been received after this time you can contact Royal Mail direct quoting your Tracking Reference number or contact ourselves. Although we can take no responsibility for any delivery delays or problems out-with our control caused by Royal Mail or any other carrier we will do all we can to help resolve any delivery problems. You will be responsible for the items as soon as they are delivered.
Cooling-Off Period, Returns and Refunds
We are confident that you will be delighted with the products you purchase from us but if you do change your mind we offer a 7 day money back guarantee on all purchases except in the one circumstance listed below (*). This cooling-off period begins the day your order is confirmed and ends 7 days from the day after you receive your order
* For reasons of hygiene we are unable to accept the return of earrings or other pierced jewellery.
You will be notified by email when your order has been posted to you. Paperwork will be included with your order giving full information on how to return goods to us.
If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched you should phone our helpline at the first opportunity. If you wish to return goods you have already received please contact us by emailing websales@chisholmhunter.co.uk or by telephoning our helpline on 0141 204 7947. A member of our staff will be happy to advise you and guide you through the returns process.
For all returns, other than for that of faulty or defective goods, the following conditions apply;
• A full refund will be given including any postal charges included in the original purchase price.
• Goods must be returned by a previously-agreed, secure postal method at your own expense. You should retain proof of postage until we inform you that the returned items have been received safely.
• Goods must be returned within 7-days from the day after the goods are received/signed for.
• Goods must be returned in their original condition along with all packaging and paperwork. If returning goods you are under a duty to keep them in your possession and to take reasonable care of them until you return them.
Should, for some reason, your purchases reach you in a less than perfect condition please contact our helpline immediately so we can resolve the problem as swiftly as possible. We will offer, if available, an exact replacement or we can advise on a suitable replacement of similar quality and value. If you do not wish the item replaced or exchanged a full refund will be given. In either case we will refund any postal costs incurred by you in returning a faulty or damaged item.
Paperwork will be included with your order giving full information on returning any items.
